Meet The Band
Forming in the fall of 2025, Wishbone is a London-based indie rock band that strives to leave it all on the stage. With the separate members intertwining creativity, they foster a community of self love and exploration through their art. If you get the chance to catch one of their shows, make sure to keep an ear out for Lori's dreamy melodies, Joaquins catchy leads, or Wyn's well-placed harmonies. Backing them up are Mila's innovative bass lines and Attila's tasteful rhythms. Glued all together, they create a sound that is like driving home from a party you don’t want to leave, or finding an old note in your jacket and realizing you are still that person. Through songwriting, they explore places in your mind that you forgot were there. With each member's character and personal inspirations shining through every song, Wishbone doesn't easily fit into a category, but always guarantees a good time.

LORI
Lori Watt is the lead singer and songwriter in Wishbone. She loves to be her freaky self on and off stage with her friends. Lori leads Wishbone’s performances with passion and endless energy that makes the whole room dance, all with a little gothic pizzazz. Lori loves to write songs with her band as it feels super special to her to be able to write songs with her closest friends. What she loves the most about Wishbone is that it gives her a safe space to express herself freely with people who love and care for her. Wishbone gives her a voice that she’s proud of. Outside of Wishbone, Lori is in Fanshawe’s MIA program. She’s also working on her own solo projects, currently working on an EP of the favourite songs she has written. Lori loves to be artistic in many different ways, including sketching and painting. She explores different avenues of creativity in her free time.
WYN
Wyn Niederer is one of two guitarists in Wishbone. They write instrumentals and lyrics in Wishbone, as well as stitch songs together section by section. Wyn likes to think of themselves as someone that is spiritually toned-in, with a special connection to places and environments. They are highly introverted, quite forward-speaking and independent. What fulfills them the most is feeling able to understand themselves and others. They love what Wishbone does for them as an individual. As an outlet to express themselves in terms of queerness, devotion to art, and oftentimes frustration. Moreover they love the feeling of being part of a family who is just as devoted to this lifestyle as they are. Outside of Wishbone, Wyn attends Fanshawe’s MIA program. They often visit home in Woodstock. They also work on other projects like the jazz quartet Forwell ‘26 and their self-led project Dunes Across Pender.
MILA
Mila Nova is the bassist in Wishbone. She deeply values the connection music brings to her life and how it extends to the local community around her. Wishbone allows her to be a part of an artistic community she has always wanted. She loves every silly aspect of bonding with people who accept her as her most authentic self through her favorite form of expression, music. She hopes her bass lines can reach the deeper parts of people's chests as they breathe in all the laughter it took for Wishbone to create what they play. Outside of Wishbone she finds herself striving to collaborate with other people in all forms of creative illustration and discovering new aspects of herself she has never reached before. Mila loves writing, photography, ruminating, and using what her mind has collected, into producing unfiltered forms of art, all supported by the lovely friends she has made along the way.
JOAQUIN
Joaquin Viray plays rhythm guitar in Wishbone and enjoys his time annoying Lori. Not knowing what would happen or where life would take him, Joaquin immigrated to Canada 5 years ago from the Philippines with his family. Joaquin loves the energy in Wishbone. What he loves the most about the band is how everyone adds their own character and uniqueness to every show they do. Outside of the band, Joaquin enjoys spending time with his friends, making new connections, and creating unforgettable experiences.
ATTILA
Attila Fay is the drummer in Wishbone and he loves banging on the drums. Attila loves exploring different facets of his mind. Even as a full time Fanshawe MIA student, Attila still finds time for his two bands: Wishbone and You Might Be Sleeping. He also has his own music released under the name Phaii. Currently, Attila gets lost in his work in studios and recording softwares like FL studio. What Attila loves the most about Wishbone is everyone’s understanding and compassion for each other. He enjoys the dynamic of how all of their ideas just bounce off each other. Attila cherishes that they aren’t just band members and that he can truly be himself while also making music he is passionate about.
